Dear Data Subject,
Pursuant to European Regulation 2016/679, we are writing to inform you that the processing of your data shall occur in compliance with the principles of “lawfulness, fairness and transparency” (art.5, letter a), and to provide you with the following information (art.13):

Data retention period: the criterion of data retention is based on the time necessary to fulfil the indicated purposes. The data shall be subsequently stored for the period laid down by tax and civil regulations in force and, in any case, until termination of the obligatory period.

Method of processing: the data shall be processed both in paper form (for which the relative documentation shall be properly held and updated for the above-defined retention period) and in digital form.

Categories of recipients:
Your data may be forwarded to the recipients or categories of recipients as set out below:
- Carriers, Freight Forwarders, Owner-operators, Post Offices and Logistics Companies;
- Consultants and professionals operating individually or in partnerships (Co-workers of the Data Controller in their capacity as Authorised Persons and Consultants of the Data Controller in their capacity as external data processors for aspects of their competence and in the manner prescribed by law);
- Banks and credit institutes;
- Institutional Entities, to which communication of the data is mandatory or necessary for the fulfilment of legal obligations or useful for managing the business relationship;
- Any external Data Processors of the Data Controller (Companies and Consultants for maintenance, control or check of the Instruments used for the processing).
Details of specific recipients besides the offices inside Salon Habitat (Italia) S.r.l. (e.g. Sales, Administration departments, etc.) are available at the company’s registered office and can be provided further to a data subject’s request.
Please note that the data shall not be disseminated (except as referred to above) and shall not be transferred to any country outside the EU or to an international organisation.

Please also note the following rights that you can exercise with regards to the Data Controller:

- The right to request access to your personal data (art.15).
- The right to rectification (art.16) or the right to erasure of the personal data (art.17).
- The right to restriction of (art.18), or opposition to, processing (art.21).
- The right to the portability of the data (art.20).
- The right to revoke consent provided for one or more specific purposes, at any time, without affecting the processing activities carried out before revocation of the consent, for which erasure can be requested (art.7).
- The right to make a complaint to the Data Protection Authority (art.77).

Finally, we hereby inform you that refusal to provide your personal data will make it impossible to enter into and perform the contract and may make you potentially liable for contractual breach.
In the event that you are registered for VAT, the failed provision of the data necessary for correct invoicing (a legal obligation) may lead to you being subject to the application of tax penalties.
This policy replaces any other policy previously provided to the Data Subject.
